So they drove the annual 5 hour trip from Louisiana. This year was a bit different as Pop wasn't feeling well...and Joshua came home that day from school with a fever. We gave him some medicine and he slept it off, and seemed fine after that. Well that night he started running fever again, so we missed the lift off the next morning, but by Saturday evening we were able to go to the balloon festival. We got caught in traffic and missed the launch. I took pictures from where I was and got some great shots.. After walking a mile from where we parked to the festival..we were tired. The balloons were coming back down and I was able to photograph the balloon glow..
