Joshua's questions

Today, Joshua asked me why Jesus has a daddy. I told him that Jesus has a daddy just like he has a daddy. He seemed OK with that answer. The next thing I was asked was, "Mommy, do you remember when you bought me at the baby store?" I told him, Mommy didn't buy you at the baby store, and he says, "yes, you did. Don't you remember?" So I proceeded to tell him how he lived in my tummy for many months, and I stuck a water jug under my shirt to show him what I looked like (we were in the kitchen at the time, so it was handy to grab the jug. He got tickled and said, "oh I was so fat!" Then I told him about how when he was ready to come into the world, we went to the hospital not the baby store to have him. I loved my conversation today with Joshua. He was thinking things through and asking questions. It was wonderful.(7/1)

So Thankful

I just want to say how thankful I am to God for all my blessings. I have been really sick the past few weeks, and unfortunately, there is work still to be done. Praise God my clients have been so understanding that I haven't been able to get everything done or even meet with them because I have been so exhausted and sleeping alot. If you are one of them, thank you so much for your patience and understanding. It's been literally years since I have been this ill. If you are a mom, you know that the show must go on! whether you are sick or not. I appreciate everyone's concern and prayers. It has meant alot. I am now on new medication that should have me up to speed in no time.

Joshua graduates kindergarden

Joshua's actual graduation was a small fanfare. They didn't do cap and gown. I was a little disappointed because I graduated with a cap and gown in Kindergarden, and my daughter did, too. So I just bought a cap and gown and did pictures anyway :)
Here is one of my favorite pictures of Joshua with his diploma. I thought my little man looked so handsome. There he is with one of his friends that goes to his school.. Both boys are such cutie-pies..

Always BEHIND the camera...not this time!

I finally had a friend of mine take some pics of me with my children. Notice there aren't any group shots. Are you kidding...! Group shots of me with my children don't happen. I don't know anyone patient enough to take them :) So as most mothers, I am happy with what I got. The pictures of Morgan and I were taken by Morgan's 8 year old best friend, Summer. I say start them young... LOL! She did a GREAT job..She's been hanging out with her 'Aunt Daisy' for 7 years now, so she is starting to have 'on the job training'. Morgan takes GREAT pictures, too. She loves to pose me and tell exactly what do to do for pictures. I will have to post some pictures real soon that she has taken. She usually tells me that I get carried away with taking pictures, but she is starting to see how easy it is to get carried away. It's fun to capture everything that's going around you.

Adios Amigos

On June 7th I photographed a fare well party for one my clients. It was fun and sad for me at the same time. I have gotten to photograph thier family 3 years in a row, so I have seen the kids grow. That's the fun part of what I do, the sad part is seeing them leave...But oh what an adventure they will have!
I wanted to put some of my favorite pictures on my blog and share them with you.
These pictures were taken at the Frisco Horse Park on 121. It was so much fun, and they are so nice over there.
